You’re playing games. I posted the quote a number of times. You’ve responded to posts with the quote in it, just not the actual quote. Why? I will put it down again.

Your 2nd paragraph illustrates the level of education you received in college.

I am for many of the policies that help offset years of discrimination that prevented everyone from sharing in the American Dream.

Of course I don’t have an ass backwards low education, right wing manipulated understanding of these policies.

Like DEI. A saw a point made that Kirk Ferentz, football coach at Iowa, employs a DEI type policy in making sure white DB’s have an opportunity to play where most schools don’t take white DB’s because of idiotic ancient stereotypes. He has produced a number of NFL DB’s that may not have otherwise gotten an opportunity. These weren’t 5 or 4 star recruits either.

So should black recruits with 5 & 4 stars get to the chance to play DB at Iowa? Of course not.

Other schools basing recruiting on these antiquated and race based stereotypes are missing out on talented players that could help the team.

Knowing things like this, why would any of us not in the chosen tier of society be against DEI policies?

The ones that make more are either short term ( fresh out of college) or comparing a long time plumber to someone that hasn’t worked for a long time.

But yes, well trained plumbers and electricians make great money. They just don’t only have a HS degree. They have to study and pass tests and earn a license/ certification.

which is a lot more easier and cheaper than attending a college to get a degree. dont get me wrong, if you have a degree in the right field, you will be making bank! but the majority of folks with a college degree is working entry level since they aint got no experience. gotta start at the bottom and work their way up. but a degree does help a lot and will help move them along faster!

Maybe. 4 years is the same as college. Plus you have to apprentice while doing it. My point is just like many white collar jobs, you can’t just walk in after HS and start getting paid like say a coal miner or a manufacturing job back in the day.

I avoided a 60's quote? It is very dated. DEI is used for other things , not sports unless you feel transgender men should play in women's sports. Do you?

Laid off all workers that investigate firefighter deaths.

Trump is focusing on securing the border and getting the non-USA citizens gang members are criminals off the streets in the USA. Fixing the BID EN inflation, making trade deals 50+ trade deals with other nations, Ending two wars , lowering energy costs among other things.
