Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: Mayweather-Pacquiao Backlash Came From Casuals That Don't Really Understand Boxing

A lot of the backlash is due to the fight not taking place when it should have. Pacquiao had already been ktfo by JMM. When PAC was at his best, Floyd seemed nervous and started making unprecedented demands about drug testing. Casuals not understanding boxing played a part because both Floyd and PAC have their die-hards who just support them no matter what. It is also a known fact that Paulie has some bias/agenda when it comes to Pac.

To say NO is sooooooooo su****ious considering the magnitude and money in that fight and the prior history going into it
Blood testing should have been mandatory not the reason for the fight not happening.
How fans can turn a blind eye to refusing advanced testing is totally beyond my comprehension.

What if Floyd believed Manny was juicing, is it then a power play or just wanting a level playing field.
Im shaking my head thinking how can anybody not see through this whole testing thing in a contest worth 600 million dollars , are you boys serious.
I think there is a lot of emotion and not a lot of logic in the entire Floyd Manny saga.Last edited by Roadblock; 05-03-2020, 01:58 AM.

Instead, he sues?? For defamation of character?? Isn't character something that needs to be proven?
Were we to believe he wasnt juicing, simply because he likes to smile and says he doesnt?
Manny lost fair & square and he wouldve lost five years earlier in the same fashion. Floyd isnt a brawling slugger - never was - he picks you apart.
