I want to place a bet on him to win but I am not sure if he's still there mentally but he's fighting at home.

Josh was a beneficiary of Affirmative Action.

I’d spit on him if he was in front of me.

Alcohol is what ruined Taylor. At his best, he was quite OK. Beating the best versions of Prograis and Ramirez is good enough.

I came in here ready to scoff at the premise & looking at the names on that list, I think he might be.

It's between him & Haney, but Haney's only 26, is still (technically) undefeated & has a long career ahead of him.

But Josh Taylor was a great fighter & a bonafided P4P great, which is why when Tank moved up to 140 to take a trinket secondary belt, there wasn't even a discussion of him fighting Josh Taylor for the real title.

Does he have a history of alcohol abuse like DUI or rehab? I don't want to label somebody a drunk without proof.

Pavlik had a well documented experiences with alcohol. I didn't hear anything about Taylor. Let me know.

Thank you for your comment. I used to always think about how Josh Taylor was the man in boxing at one point then just fell off within a 2 year window.

Being an undefeated undisputed champion at his peak is a major achievement. but out of this list, yes he is at the bottom.

Yes. Devin is close to the bottom too but I think he will pick up another belt maybe after boots moves up.

Ranking them would be pretty hard too.

Here is the episode I was referring to:

The steady decline of Taylor in recent years, coupled with this incident, is a clear sign for me. A bit like the first "alcohol rumors" about Sergei Kovalev, which - with the passage of time - revealed themselves to be true.
