yeah, europe doesnt innovate or create any more, i was listening to something about how china is just going to wipe the floor with everyone else in the electric car market to the extent that all the major european car brands we know now will be pretty much redundant, the only answer europe has to china is by putting tarriffs in place, they cant innovate or compete with their own projects.... theyve had plenty of time to prepare aswell as its been a long term strategy from chinese government to shift into high end goods

Ironically the Dane’s (then vikings) actually invaded the UK and nicked a load of our finest women before we later went on a world conquest and created the British Empire.

So you could land some partial blame on the Vikings for leaving us with all the rotters and having to seek out better options

My best mate fell in love with a Danish girl and moved to Denmark to start a family. He had quite a high flying job with Sennheiser for a few years and then left to teach instead so he had more flexibility for his young kids.

At both levels of salary he has lived a GREAT lifestyle. I earn similar to him and pay lower tax in the UK, yet he goes on many more holidays, has much more time to spend with the family, he also has much better healthcare and general standards of living.

The only things holding me back from moving there is being further away from my family and I’m told the culture is quite different socially to the British (more reserved), and takes a long while to assimilate to.
