How do you figure they’re not used for hunting?

AR-15’s are sporting rifles, mainly for target shooting but I’ve seen some injuns on rez hunt with them

I know a lot of gun collectors and people that go hunting all the time. Never once I heard they take one of those.

The responsible people who have guns understand the responsibility and the liability of having a firearm. I do understand that it is a right and people rightfully so should own guns. But something has to change, we can be that what happens a bit to ofter is ok. Indeed there are more death with illegal handguns and that problem has to be dealt differently.

.223/5.56 is a good sporting round

Good for varmint hunting because of the light bullet and flat trajectory

Also useful at ranches against medium to small predators like coyotes and wolves

Ppl also use it for wild pig hunting

Normal ppl don't understand criminals and crime.

Most criminals escalate the levels of their crimes gradually.

few criminals go straight to bank robbery or home invasions with their first crime.

They start off purse snatching or burglary or robbing liquor stores first.

Most criminals don't commit murders as their first act of violence.

They usually start with simple fights and assaults first.


That's why you punish harshly for small crimes.

You get them off the streets before they advance to the next level. Or at least delay them until they jump to the next level.
