Read my other posts in this thread, like my replies to Anthony. I said that Bruce was a great athlete, a great and passionate guy with great ideas, a great actor who inspired thousands of fighters.

Bruce himself was a humble guy who wouldn't be comfortable with people mythologizing his abilities or his accomplishments. The real Bruce Lee was great enough and worthy enough of celebration. We don't have to turn him into some legendary badass fighting machine.

The truth of it is that any journeyman fighter close to his size in any combat sport (boxing, kickboxing, MMA, bare knuckle, freestyle, Greco-Roman, Judo, etc) would probably destroy Bruce in a real fight. And that's okay. It doesn't take anything away from who Bruce really was to admit that.

Watch the video. Both of the students Bruce faces attack him with the exact same combination of moves multiple times, and Bruce counters them in different ways as a demonstration. You have been watching combat sports long enough that you should be able to tell the difference between a sparring demonstration and live fighting action.

I read that Dux came up with a tournament just so he could give himself a trophy. What a tool. Had people buying into him for so long that they made the first Bloodsport movie about him. So glad the internet exposes these frauds now. Even stranger is George Dillman because he was legit at one time and then became a total fraud with his pressure point fighting and no touch KO crap. I remember some old guy claiming to do no touch knockouts and when he fought a karate black belt, got his ass knocked out. I believe it's on youtube. Lasted about a minute lol.
