    The tale of two cities….

Two cities, each in a red state, close in population, very similar gun laws. One had 7 murders in 2021, the other had 155 murders in 2021. One has a ********** mayor, the other a ********. Guess which one…

Sioux Falls SD, Pop 193K, 7 murders

Jackson MS, Pop 163K, 155 murders

    Guess it’s not the guns…

That’s another statistic that will hurt some feelings around here. I just find it amusing that the whole red state with lenient gun laws blame can’t be proven in this example. Two red states, one dem run city the other rep led city, totally different outcomes.

          Wow GhostofHumpty is a genius!

Next week he’ll compare crime in Kolkata with Dhaka to determine which religion produces more criminals!

The root of the problem is not access to guns, but once gun violence becomes an issue regulation around gun access should at least be evaluated.

I'm not against guns, but I also don't understand the outrage for better gun regulations.

One thing I learned is that modern day *******ism only works in high trust societies or societies that share a common culture. It does not work when you bring in some other demographic that has radically a different culture. You can take a look at Sweden for that example or the many European countries.

A lot of the Euros wants to lecture us about banning guns, but I don't go around lecturing them that almost all ********* attacks in their countries are all exclusively from 1 religion. Maybe they should ban that particular religious group, eh?

Or we can address why one city has such a problem and another doesn’t.

Sure, but how would that be fixed? I'll give you this. Removing legal access to guns is not the answer, but that doesn't mean there aren't things regarding gun access that should be considered.
