Gonna sound like I'm trivialising it, and maybe I am some, but it's possibly one of the most overhyped issues of our times in terms of the column inches and social media engagement generated relative to the actual real world scale of the issue. Guess gender and ***uality always gonna be a hot button topic though.

Great headline from the Mail a screaming about Trans prisoners in female prisons as scommiting ***ual assaults at an 'exponentially higher rate' (5x) than regular prisoners. Turns out when you looked deeper they're talking about a grand total of 7 cases in almost 10 years across the entire prison system.

Or the recent Loudoun thing in which the perpetrator turned out to not even be tran***ual and just happenied to be ****ing his girl in the girls toilet and took it too far.... outrage horror stories for weeks about '****** ****s' because he happened to - maybe - have been wearing a skirt.

Still should call them transwomen for accurate recording.

At this point in time, people like JK Rowling and Dave Chapelle have f-uck you money and have a large dedicated fanbase, they don't care and are untouchable from cancel culture.

Yeah I ain't gonna disagree with that, nor do I think chicks wiv ****s belong in a women's prison and I'm kinda ambivalent on bathroom access too. Mainly though it troubles me that it seems most of the stories about trans***uals seem to portray em as some kinda huge **** threat to women which just ain't borne out by the stats.. Like some kinda moral panic going on.

Like I said above I know one trans***ual (transwoman) dude personally and he's a good person if kinda mixed up, I just see these kinda stories - and the tone of em particular - as creating there own sets of problems. Won't lie I kinda struggle with it, makes me real uncomfortable but I try to look beyond that. Dude wouldn't hurt a fly and he's a been a good friend to me.

And also like I say the absolute numbers involved are miniscule relative to the outrage and contempt these kinda stories generate.
