They just caved in to backlash by fans and by what Sony did. It still doesn't change the fact that they tried to pull this off. If Sony announced similar restrictions would Microsoft be doing this? No they wouldn't. For all we know Microsoft might still put all these restrictions on the console - just in case.
And I've also read a few comments from Xbox users who say that they've already pre-ordered the PS4 and aren't going cancel it because of what Microsoft tried to do.
Also there still will be mandatory installs which will fill up the Xbox One's 500gb non-replaceable hard drive real quick.
PS4
Better more powerful hardware
Better exclusives
Upgradeable hard drive
No Kinect
$100 cheaper

Which exclusives games you talking about? 1886????

The xbox is more expensive because it includes the kinnect and other features which are all sold separately on the ps4
I just hope Microsoft does integrate the cloud com*****g that they were going for, although it'll be harder without always online it can still work.
Otherwise expect a fairly swift price drop now that it's just another console like Playstation

Arguing that the ps4 has a better launch lineup is straight fanboyism, it doesn't. And nor am I going to buy a launch ps4 because the last of us was a good game. It's a ps3 game.
It's impossible to have a logical argument with Sony fanboys

A PC is more powerful and will run the cloud a billion times better than Xbox1 ever could.
The fact that Playstation is not bundling their motion capture device is offering the consumer the CHOICE of whether to get it or not.
Don't hold your breath on a price drop happening until a year passes at least.

I already pre ordered my ps4 and have no intentions of changing it.
Then only Microsoft exclusive I liked was gears of War. Seeing how Judgement turned out, o well. Surely Sony can offer me something.
I noticed they didn't say anything about the kinect camera? I'm assuming it always has to be on still?
This move is nothing but corporation greed. Microsoft saw they were about to flop and lose out on tons of money. Best to remove the restrictions and make it seem like if it was for the "fans".
Once again, Sony wins.
