There is certainly nothing wrong with putting him in the top 10. He's one of the many that has an argument to be in the back half.

He's not great, but he's really good. His counterpunching and combinations are top notch, and his defense is fairly good.

And people don't realize he also has two wins as a teenager over future lightweight champ Miguel Vasquez

No, he isn't. Simply because I thought his win over Lara was better and tha tstill didn't get him a plate at the big table. I can see him sneaking into the bottom half of the top 10 but most likely top 20/

Canelo is very good, especially for someone his age but against the best, he hasn't ever clearly taken a win over the best names. Great fighters always beat top fighters clearly at the very least once or twice. Canelo has yet to do that.

canelo's never been a huge puncher. kirkland has one of the worst chins in boxing history. its seth mitchell bad.

I dont think Cotto was as close as Trout/Lara, but it was a close affair. We'll see what the wider audience's scorecards are shortly

Forgive me for not caring about your individual take on both Lara/Trout. Nearly all observers were split on who won those fights. Had he won against Trout and Lara decisively, thered be no debate as to whether he belongs on a p4p list .. But he could easily have 3 losses
