That 10 generations is only my mother's side, Which are a mix of miwok, pomo and chumash, and were here long before euros stepped foot on the west coast. My dads side is spanish/Native/Mestizo and have been in CALIFORNIA since before the U.S. was a colony. That side has treaties, legal documents and other long forms dated b4 the 1600s. I haven't been able to see them for myself but I've seen pictures/copies.

I’m a naturalised American, I wasn’t born here, just took several oaths to it and the Constitution in the US Army and state law enforcement. If you now claim more than the 10 generations then so be it, but let us never question the FBA lineage and contribution to this land. Without them there is no USA as we know it. And much of the patents, inventions, culture, economy of the USA is heavily based on their contributions, (unpaid) labour, patents, inventions, war fighting, sports dominance, utter dominance of entertainment that is exported as American culture as a whole.
