Was he though? The one fight I saw where Usyk took a knee (the commentary was in a foreign language) turned out to have been ruled an illegal punch.

is the one you are thinking of a body shot followed by Usyk taking a knee?

Ive heard that Korobov not only knocked him down but stopped him.Usyk was only about 18 at the time though.

edit: just looked it up about Korbov, technically it wasn’t a ko, it was an “RSCO” referee stopped contest, opponent Outclassed. Lol!

Usyke is a great fighter. Reminds me of Chris Byrd. He’s slick, smart and understands boxing. That said, he won’t be champ for very long. Why?? Cause heavyweight DOESNT have weight requirements. A big man who KNOWS how to IMPOSE HIS SIZE & WEIGHT Will whip him EASILY.
