Hagler did have a weakness. Fighters could draw him into fighting 'their' fight.
Duran neutralized Hagler's power by making him come to him; SRL made him box instead of fight; and Marvin didn't have a clue what to do with the crude Antuefermo, twice.
I could see SRR work Hagler the way a matador works a bull. At times Hagler looked simply comfused with Leonard.
But anyone who thinks this is a slam dunk, either way, has a dog in the fight.
This fight is a pick-um whether fought in 1980 or 1950, six ounce gloves or eight, any size ring, 10, 12, or 15 rounds. Still a pick-um.

Marvin moves better, is fatster, tighter defense, punches harder, and can switch fro orthodox to southpaw without missing a beat. This is no walkover for Robinson. In fact I think this is a 50/50 fight that could go either way.JAB5239 likes this.
