    Best Fight That Never Happened

If you could go back in time and make one fight happen that never did, what would it be? A prime Mayweather vs. Pacquiao? Tyson vs. Ali? Something else?
Let’s discuss the greatest "what if" fights in boxing history!

We saw prime Mayweather vs prime Pacquiao. Bowe vs Lewis, Wilder vs Joshua when they were both unbeaten would have been a great fight, Charlie Zelenoff vs Brian Sutherland, time machine wise Rocky Balboa vs Rocky Marciano, and the much rumoured Hulk Hogan vs Mike Tyson fight, before Tokyo Douglas beat Tyson, would have been a great bout. henry armstrong - charley burley
burley deserved it more than several of 18 contenders that armstrong defended his title against. maybe armstrong wouldn't be considered top5 ever if this fight happened. that's pretty big in my book.

            foreman - holmes
~20 years in the same division, both champions, both top10 ever heavyweights and they are the exact same age. it's ridiculous this is only a fantasy fight.

            bowe - lewis

Heavyweight Fights that Should have Happened.

Sullivan-Mitchell (III BK to the finish)
              Corbett-Jackson
              Corbett-Fitzsimmons (II)
              Johnson-Langford (for the title)
              Dempsey-Wills
              Tunney-Sharkey
              Braddock-Schmeling
              Louis-Conn (II) (in October 1942 not '46)
              Marciano-Patterson
              Clay-Liston (II) (sarcasm)
              Ali-Foreman (II)
              Foreman-Tyson
              Bowe-Tyson
              Bowe-Lewis

I have been so unmoved by the Brothers K, Fury, AJ, or Wilder that I can't think of a fight I wanted to see. In fact I didn't think much of the fights we did see except Fury-Wilder (I), that was a good fight.

                - - I would say Dempsey/Wills because that became "The Peoples Fight" that Red Sox owner Harry Frazee tried to make that featured record purses and record Venues in Red Sox and then Yankee Stadiums.

It would have done a lot for the nascent Civil Rights movement and Politicians realizing that such a thing could happen that would've opened up opportunities for all.
