beat two of the biggest legends of all time (although both well past their prime) in silva and hendo and ofcourse scored what was a contender for both upset and KO of the year to win the title.

he has a good case for sure.

but its werd that they are calling it already with a few cards coming up. if cruz beats garbrandt he has W's over him, faber and dillashaw in 2016. thats a damn good case too.

Bisping is not a bad choice.

Stipe Miocic had a pretty good year too. Knocked out Arlovski, Werdum, and Overeem.

All in 1 round. Stipe did something in a year that very few fighters ever accomplish, I can't think of the last time a heavyweight had a better single year than this.

Those are 3 of the ATG heavyweights and were riding on a very high winning streak before he crushed their skulls.

Miocic is fighter of the year without a doubt. Bisping's was great but honestly he's not even close to this.
