15 Years ago, one of the most beloved WWE wrestlers passed away.

    R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero

I'm 38 now, the same age Eddie was when he passed. One of my all-time favorites, I watched this video for the first time in years, I cried like a girl lmao.

Steroids kill so many of these guys. Sad that they feel forced to do them just so they can get a push.

JBL told a funny story about Eddie. I love hearing about backstage real stuff more than what happens in the ring.

Yes, Eddie was a lot of fun to watch. It's too bad. I always liked his intro in WCW...

Not only was he beloved by fans, he was also one of the most respected wrestlers by his peers. Very entertaining on the mic and in the ring. RIP Latino Heat!

I agree, what's even more sad is WWE still didn't get very serious about their drug testing policies until two years later when Benoit killed his family and himself.

Love the backstage stuff too. A lot of great podcasts and YouTube channels for that stuff.

Yeah, loved all his theme songs.

I never saw Eddie at a WWE live show, but I did see him live twice when he was in WCW so I got to hear that song in person lol.

His last intro song Lie, cheat and steal was my favorite though. Always loved seeing him drive to the ring with his lowrider. Great memories.

Yeah for sure man, that's why so many wrestlers wanted to wrestle him.

In 2002, Stone Cold requested to work with him, but he ended up leaving WWE so he never had that match with Eddie.

Sure Eddie did plenty of drugs, but I thought none were found in his body when an autopsy was done and he was clean for years leading up to his death.

Eddie was clean off recreational drugs and alcohol, but he did HGH, testosterone and estrogen blockers. All of those drugs were legal in WWE at the time. His heart was twice the size it should have been. He also overtrained quite a bit.

But he was sober from 2002 until he died. He took that very seriously.

You watch Smackdown last night? They had the final Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins match and Rey did the Eddie dance before hitting the frog splash. I like when wrestlers do the frog splash to pay tribute to him because Eddie used that move to pay tribute to Art Barr his former tag team partner who died.
