Does anyone even care when the Professional sports don't play?

I mean seriously, I am a fan of the Celtics but I wouldn't give a fk if they decided to not play the rest of the season to be honest. Does this stuff impact anyone except the degenerate gamblers out there?

The WNBA lol, they probably saved the owners money by not playing.

postponing a game for 1 or 2 days does zero for social justice, zero to further any cause related to black issues in America. All it does is give these guys an extra day off.

they start cancelling NFL games maybe there would be people crying about it but mostly the fantasy football dorks who have 8 teams and sit in front of the TV all day swearing when the guy they're playing guys go off

Bottom line is nobody really gives a fk what these guys do, our lives don't change in the least so sit out forever if you feel like it. Go get a job at McDonalds to show how much you support the average mans struggles and then get back to us

I care up to a point because I'm a fan of the NBA, but I havn't been watching since they came back. I watch sports for the escapism, not to have more **** thrown at me.

        Nope, I've been fishing more.

I don't care of they ever come back. Every person I know except my best friend that has a book says they're done with sports.

I would say at least 50-60% of the people I talk to aren’t watching right now.

The whole thing is a joke and accomplishes nothing, I mean LeBum ended their boycott as soon as they knew their wallet would be impacted.8 year old runaways hold out longer than they did .Athletes are spoiled and have had privilege most of their lives in one form or another. Getting passing grades in high school they might have not earned, free shoes and gear at the mall.Remember when LeBums mom with her ****ty credit and minimum wage job was approved for a hummer ?.

Most Americans do not want to be lectured by rich athletes.Especially now when many are struggling to put food on the table or are just trying to find work. They live in their social media bubble and think that twitter and the gram are real life.LeBum wants to be "more than athlete" but has proven he won't make the sacrifices to be that. Most Americans do not care what athletes think outside of the sport they play.98% of people who have to work real jobs and provide for their families will simply move on just like when the Kung Flu canceled everything .Let me give you perspective on how influential LeBum is he campaigned with Hillary in Ohio (his home state) and she lost the state.

I have loved sports my whole life and followed all my favorite teams intensely. Outside of combat sports (Boxing & UFC)I have hardly paid attention since they came back.

Baseball yes. October is a fun time of the year when the Dodgers are in the playoffs.

We get thrown politics at us everywhere. Netflix is been even having a lot of politics on it.
They don't get that it's being thrown in our faces all day everyday.

We then want a outlet to get away. Turn on the TV to watch sports and the announcers yapping about everything. The court being painted. The players making statements.

So now I'm just fishing more. No one on the lake telling me about politics. It's MY time! Not anyone else's.

On a side note, things like fishing on TV ratings are up. UFC numbers are doing great. Lots are sick of it.

The Morgan Freeman gif sums this up perfectly. Haha.

Yeah, I like watching the NHL but when they pulled their bu ll s h it and caved the other day, it just reminded me how fickle it all is. I may watch more of the play-offs. May not. I was definitely going to but now...eh. I may watch some old games instead.

I was all set to watch Flyers and Islanders yesterday and I get home and see they cancelled it. Pissed. Don't care about baseball or NBA but I will miss college basketball if they don't play. Looks like NFL will start.
