WTF is the deal with YouTube commercials?

Used to be fun to scroll though their videos. Now they get interrupted two or three times every couple minutes. Even with ending them after 5 seconds it's still seriously annoying.

That's where an adblock helps.

But yeah I noticed on a work computer without adblock the ads are out of control over last few weeks. Literally every minute on one video. Had to turn it off.

Two ads to see a ad about a product. Makes sense lol.

They figure if they annoy you enough you'll buy that Youtube premium crap so you don't get ads. Same thing with Hulu
