Now they’re trying to burn a bronze statue made by a sculptor over 100 years ago. Destroying some artist’s hard work...and impressive artwork at that. At least a few of the people in these mobs must be majoring in some arts in school. They have to feel at least a bit torn by destroying something far better than they’ll ever be able to create.

There is a list of names of so called victims. If a person was to honestly gather up FACTS, those names would look silly.

But it serves their cause.

I mean if someone supports taking them down...so be it. There has to be a better way to go about it though. No matter what the statues “represent”, they’re still historic pieces of art. Petition to have them relocated to a museum or something.

I have to believe the vast majority of the people going after these monuments, most likely didn’t know anything about them or care about them one way or another until now...and they probably still don’t know who these historical figures are or what they did or represented lol. They’re “woke” tho...
