When they defund the police, and crime undoubtedly shoots up massively, the excuse will be the same as it always has been...RACISM.

They'll try to hide and bury the real crime statistics. Departments will be told not to keep records of arrests or report them into a database. They'll find a way to spin the numbers to make it look like this is really working. Back in April while we were all told to quarantine in our homes, there were news articles actually praising a drop in crime rates in cities across the country for the month of April, without actually taking into account that most people were locked down in their homes.

Don't forget the 400 years of racism and oppression argument which seems to be a catch-all for any social program that isn't working.

All the people who call for defunding the police are likely criminals, or have no idea about the world.

I have been to other countries, I have seen lawlessness..... I've been deployed in real ****holes. You don't want to go there.
