It was especially heavy in school where I got bullied and singled out a lot but that shlt made me real strong, real fast.

I became a person that you wouldn't want to fcuk with because I'd been fcuked with so much.

I remember the first white girlfriend I had, and she introduced me to her parents, her dad treated me like a dog. He started getting visibly angry after we first met, and she told me to wait in her room it was ok.

So I did, and I heard them arguing from inside the room.

I didn't hear everything they said but i picked out, "...i don't want him in my house..." " ...because he's asian!!!...."

Of course I used my charm and i eventually won him over. He seemed to like the fact that I was loaded lol, I knew he would, so I used that as an angle, talking about my mom being a doctor, my dad being a succesful businessman and my plans for college, which I already had a scholarship for.

I strategically charmed him, but If i wasn't trying to get into his daughter's panties, I would have been like..

"Nlgga, im young enough to be your son and I already have more money than you, and you want to look down on me, **** off my dlck, broke ass cr4cker."

And if he wanted to get beat down after I said that, I would have obliged.

Some were heavily outwardly racist, they were confrontational with me. Some are just presumpously, passive aggressively racist, and some don't show it outwardly but you can sense that they look at you differently.

It's not as heavy as it was when I was growing up, people are definitely less racist now, but it wasn't easy growing up asian in america.

Yeah i mostly "party" with filipino americans... ive worked for a decade in the US and now work in a plant located in small town, texas (lots of "rednecks").. maybe they dont show it but i honestly dont feel it.. never felt it.. maybe a few but i think those are just rude people and acts like it to everyone..

Do any of you realize how important Cotton was to the American economy????? Any idea why they called it King Cotton?

            Jesus Christ. Read a book.

As for the Pharaohs, could have sworn we talked about that already. Again, read a book.

What you wrote makes no sense, slavery was concentrated in the South via plantations, but in the North where most of the industry was concentrated slavery did not exist. The confederacy fought to keep slavery alive to preserve their economy, which said economy with slavery was still much more inferior to the Unions economy which had no ******. Now the north from time to time rented ****** from southerners to build certain projects, but those were few and far in between. The major boom of America did not occur until in the early 20th century with waves of new immigrants arriving, long after slavery.

In other words slavery did not build America, slavery helped preserve the Souths lagging economy of plantation farming when everyone else in the country was moving toward industry.
Don’t be obtuse. The money that kept those industries and banking system alive came from slavery and slave labour.

I think you need to read more - reading extensively helps a great deal.

How do you think a white boy would be treated if he hung out with an all black group of kids, you dont think the word cracker would be used from time to time? Or if he hung with only asians? Or if a black kid hung out with only asians, you think those asians dads would be any different to him for dating their daughters than the white dad you dealt with?

What you're describing are the ills of growing up, its not right, but its also not exclusive to any set of people, it exists for everyone.
