So this is over ten years ago and I was startstruck but this elderly couple came to peg city Canada to go see the polar bears in Churchill.
I was a shuttle boy for a hotel, and when they told me they were from Catskills I told myself don't let them know you're obsessed with iron mike!
So basically this was before I watched the movie with Michael Jai white so my chronology was all over the place. I asked them if they knew Camille and they said she still lives up the street. They also told me that the boxing gym was still there above the police station. One thing they really emphasize d was that Tyson was a great fighter but he didn't have a great upbringing. The ride to the train station was too short, and I froze in the moment, just a quiet busboy.
If I were to go back I would've asked them if they knew teddy amongst other questions. I'm not bragging about this I'm just proud I met them and they were nice people
