While the west is largely divided, arguing over race, identity politics and a large group wanting to destroy the patriarchy and bring down the system, China is slowly improving their own race and country through genetic research, and look on the cusp of improving things as far as IQ!!!

What do you guys think of this, morally, ethically? do you support selective tampering of Embryo's to cure illness? make humans more resistant to disease? In that sense I believe it's good.

What do you think the future holds for the human race? we are getting dumber on average (Asians smarter though) and literally half the Arab world is inbred...... there is no natural-selection any more and almost no need for most people to use their brains to improve themselves. An overpopulation (in the near future) of dumber people can never be good, and the Western world is close to tearing itself apart already. When the climate starts heating up, and mass immigration into Europe and US happens, it will only get worse..... too many people who are already racially divided and a worsening economy with no jobs for people..... I think we are doomed as a society, only a matter of time.

IMO the ethical question was already irreversibly made; global average IQ is in freefall and there are virtually no selective pressures controlling who gets to reproduce. When we hit that point there was no turning back other than civilization collapsing, or artificial intervention (genetic engineering).

The population keeps growing but so does general misery; via widespread mental illness, social backwardness, chronic but nonfatal health problems (most people alive today would not have survived pre-1900).

I think this is where we are headed as a species, whether or not we have societal collapse.... this will undoubtedly be controlled by the wealthy and used to better themselves in ways we can't imagine, effectively creating different "tiers" of human..... as mentioned in the video.

I was just watching Joe Rogan and Elon Musk last night, talking about 'Neuralink", some high-bandwidth, brain machine that might be capable of linking neural pathways to repair brain damage, sight, paralysis among other uses like linking to a computer interface...... shiat is getting real.
