Question about RZ N99 masks and valves/filters

Any of you experts on this? Ive ben testing various masks such as regular disposable N95s and
reusable RV N99 with valves.

Question is, valve closes up during inhale and open up during exhale. During exhale, couldNt particles and viruses go through the valve?

Which do you prefer?

You think ventilation masks are worse than non ventilation mask?
