A lot of medical staff working with these patients are old enough to be worried about getting the virus themselves.

The current generation is soft as ****.. the people who fought in WW1/2/Vietnam etc probably rolling in their graves.

I don't mind it at all. If that inspires people in the medical field to want to help, I don't see anything wrong with it.

I'll just say this, this isn't your typical war. Shots are being fired but not with guns.

I heard the other day they can't find people to work in the hospital. 25hr temp job doing basic stuff.

Seems no one wants to join the draft.

I agree. And of course I appreciate their dedication to their careers but the medical personnels and patients get the first dibs at all the safety gears while the other millions of citizens have to wear some shtty home made masks.

All mouths matter. Not just fkin hospital personnels.

The military medical staff have joined the "fight" so I guess you have to ask yourself, is this like a war?

Something tells me if anyone on here gets it's they'll be very thankful some are working the front lines. I mean they didn't sign up for this kind of odd thing. The hospital's weren't prepared and the local and feds weren't either. Put it this way I told our family doc not to get involved and she agreed.

100 nurses and doctors world wide have died from the virus in roughly the last three months. 106 police officers died on the job in the US last year. 57 fire fighters died in the US on the job. This virus is just getting started so those numbers for doctors is going to go up.
