I was just like everyone else I thought The House belonged to The Animals. Had no reason to doubt it. Then many years later when I start delving deeper into music roots and origins, I find a Lead Belly CD. i put it on and after a few songs.......there is a house in New Orleans,......now I knew he had died in 1949, so....?????
I now had to check this out, which I did as you can see above.

You can't....the greatest song ever recorded....because of all the genres. You must go with the greatest jazz, blues, soul, rockabilly, country, punk, rap etc etc.
