The huns did not come from hungaria lol. Native Hungarian people are called magyar people, and the magyars were conquered by the huns.

The name "hun" was given by the romans to describe the invading nomadic horse riding people which originated from the central asians steppes - or the xiongnu federation of horse riding tribes. The group that separated from the nomadic federation to move westward and ended up campaigning towards europe, were what the romans called "huns"

The reason the huns liked hungary and why many of them lingered in the country after conquering the natives is because hungary is full of green plains that their horses graze on.

The hungarian plains were valuable to the huns for the same reason the mongolians iinvaded hungary. So their horses could graze there.

The Magyars came a long time after Attila. They weren't the original Hungarians. The Roman historians described Attila and there are
Roman statues and paintings of him. He looks like a typical European.

No one really knows where the huns came from.

Best guess is the central asian steppes near the Caucasus are.

            Near Georgia, Armenia, Chechnya, Ossetia.

That's the Mongols you're talking about there. It would have been them who conquered the Magyars about a thousand years after Attila's death.

I think you're getting your barbarian hordes confused!

There is a famous Hollywood movie about Attila. He was played by Yule Bruner.
