is mixing engine oil ok? if i add extra oil

My old bmw has engine oil low warning.. i bought a quart of oil at gas station and put in it.. i plan on having oil change this weekend.. i dont think its leaking just been super lazy going to my trusted bmw mechanic that is 20 mins from my house.. its actually due oil change 2 months ago lol

yes, mixing engine oil should be fine! but please note, if you're gonna mix 2 different brands of oil, you have to buy 1 regular motor oil and then mix it with a bottle of power steering fluid.. it has something to do with the thickness, and by mixing the 2 oil together, you'll get the best texture. just asks KING MEAT

If you aint gonna do your own oil change, at least buy your own synthetic oil and have them do it.

I dont care about leased cars but my sht I do it myself.

nah.. you think those mofos is gonna use your oil? probably keep yo shiiet for them and put the regular cheap oil they have at the shop in your car. places like jiffy lube is ran by a bunch of 19-23 years old. if you gon pay someone to change your oil for you, at least go to a private moms/pops auto shop.
