Why do so many everyday Americans worship the top 1% and defend them?

It's a weird phenomenon. I see it a lot where normal everyday people just out of the blue defend the top 1% as if they're one of them or something. Then they hate on poor people saying they don't work hard enough. What is the origin of this phenomenon?

It'd called common sense. Some know what it's like to start a business and risk it all.

It's a free country you don't have to support them. You don't have to buy their chit. Pretty simple really.

What's funny is these same people are trying to change the future with their money. Gates gives away large amounts of cash and is working on carbon capture and other things.
Musk is trying all kinds of chit.
Bezos working on nuclear fusion for safe power and space chit.
It goes on and on. These people don't just make money and bounce. They drive the future with their money.

Theres people that are making good money because of them. Think Amazon and the planes they own. The fuel thats sold, the pilots, the maintenance, the delivery people that are starting start ups. It goes on and on.

Look at google and the money the employees make. The money they spend on clothes, cars ect. Its all a trickle down and some branch off and make big bucks.

The small guy that picks packages ect has no goals to do anything else.

Lets look at Indian families that come to the US. They are hungry, they live together and save up to buy gas stations ect. If you WANT it bad enough the world is yours. Most people are just happy on the hamster wheel waiting for the next iphone. Looking at insta ect. They dont want that stress or sacrifice or risk.

Musk is sending satellites into space to provide internet cheaper. Not to mention all the other chit he does. Think about if these people were taxed 80%. Do you think they government would do a better job with the money?
