I’m sure he can find comfort from other women. I can’t. The longest relationship I’ve had lasted maybe 1 and a half months. Leads me to believe there’s something I’m doing wrong.
I hope no one I know joins BoxingScene forums. I reveal wayyyyyy too much info about myself here.Kris Silver likes this.

Refreshing to see such a thread and posts, on a boxing sites forum which let's be honest, can feature some of the counter productive attitudes of "man up pu$$y".
Male suicide is at record highs, it's one of the top causes of death for young to medium age male adults. It's pretty bad for females too, and generally increasing.
I've suffered the odd wave of depression and did during covid, as it eventually lead to losing my job, a breakup, and obviously the isolation of lockdowns.
You not only find out who in your family, friends, colleagues are good and supportive, empathetic, big enough to level they have bad days, weeks or months. But you realise who generally in your sphere is quite the opposite, doesn't empathise, and makes you feel worse. It's sad because they'll need the support one day and their partner or others could by rights say, well you had zero time for me when I had some blues. Doesn't help does it but you get the point.
Anyhow full credit and respect to those big enough to talk openly about struggles. Not talking frankly and relating to our fellow men, brothers, women, mothers, sons, colleagues, is the epitome of addressing the ever increasing issues in mental health and suicide.
I've read a book recently called Lost Connections, by a guy Johann Harri, who was on Joe Rogan's podcast, has done extensive research into some of the reasons depression's increasing in Western Society. Worth a watch, very insightful, and essentially about focussing on what matters, less so on money and material things...

My advice be around friends and family, smoke weed, do a little reflection, exercise, make sure you eating right, try to go out.
We all deal with it, but it's important identifying it and dealing with in productive ways.
Back in the day I had a actual ********** give me advice about getting my mental shyt together, that was definitely rock bottom, I woke up rejuvenated the next morning lol*TonyMontana* likes this.

I have some really sh#tty sunglasses, a cheap mask for Covid, and a beanie hat. If by chance someone I know passes me by, they won’t recognize me. I applied for a personal loan cuz my credit cards are all maxed out and I need a lower interest rate. Not enough hours at work, so fu#k it. I really don’t care anymore.
I’ll put all of my panhandling earnings in a fund and when they reach $8,000, then I can forgive myself.
