I suck at holdem, omaha and stud so there's no point in registering in any of those just to get waxed early, but I feel I have a legit shot at two the razz tournaments. Thinking about playing in those. Not sure yet.
Razz was probably my best game back when I played regularly. I do just enough to tread water at most NLHE games, because I'm just simply not aggressive enough in No Limit formats.

That team event is interesting. Where you can basically "tag" in a person to play for you.

Just yesterday I was playing with friends. There's a guy who I'm not sure why he plays the way he does. He either gets impatient or just thinks his bluffs are going to work. Blatant all-in bluffs at times. You just have to be careful with these people.

He had just re-bought since he lost on an all-in or something.

I caught a pair of queens on the flop(Q-2-3 or some low cards). I bet, he raises. I call. I start wondering if he's bluffing.

Turn. Don't remember the card. Still only a pair of queens. I bet. He raises. I call.

River. A high card. A king I think. I bet, he goes all in. I have him covered as far as chips. I'm still thinking "This guy has shit". Lol.

I tell him "Okay, here's some charity. I call." since at this point I'm just curious to see what he has and yeah, it's obviously possible he betters my pair of Qs. I show my hand and he says "You got it" and just leaves. Lol.

I told the other guys I wouldn't have called if it was any of them. I normally don't play like that but I had a feeling with this guy.

It can be a very frustrating game, but it can be very rewarding when everything is going right.
No doubt. I pretty regularly would refer to Razz as one of the sickest games. Playing NLHE or even PLO, I never got so frustrated as when I'd start so far ahead in a hand of Razz, only to brick out while watching my opponent catch card after card. It's a drawing game. And drawing games are sick as shit.

He might have. He really relies on draws, even inside draws. He does bet aggressively with straight or flush draws.

Lol, you can't be waiting on cards like that. You'll lose quick.

Same, a perk of living there I guess.
