Im looking to switch things up... I used to buy only Fiji brand but i had a bad experience once, the water had an after taste to it and there was a recall last year for Fiji.. So after that, I switched to Essentia, I was on this brand for over a year but now the price just went up to $50 for 24 bottles. It used to be around $30. So now I am looking for another brand of drinking water. I am considering Icelandic Glacial. What do yall think about this brand?

We also buy Essentia, but I haven't tried Icelandic Glacial yet. My wife and I are very careful about choosing water because it's really important, especially if you have children. We choose water as carefully as we choose clothes for our children. We recently found and want to find more reviews about it before buying. Can any of you recommend any other good water brands?Last edited by romekzadra; 05-27-2025, 05:40 PM.

Mountain Valley Spring Water in glass bottle is the best. It’s $35 for 12 pack ( 1 liter ) but it’s worth it. Trust me. If you are into pure water, this is it. It will change your life.
There is no price tag on our well being and I will stock up on these. I don’t drink nothing else. If these aren’t available, my second choice is Fiji but the plastic concerns me so this is strictly for emergency.
When I hike, I take few bottles of Mountain Valley and IDGAF how heavy they are.
Any other brand is like eww get that thing away from me.IceTrayDaGang likes this.

I think imma get the plastic bottle version tho because I wanna bring this to work and I don't like bringing glass bottles. $60 for a 12 pack of 25.36 fl oz. This stuff better be good! lol. I thought you were big on Fiji before? I stopped buying Fiji after experiencing a weird after taste from it.
I do like Fiji but I just don’t like the plastic packaging. If they had glass option, I’d be down. Maybe the weird taste you got was from the bottles being under the sun before shipping.
I love Mountain Valley and Fiji because they have no taste which is exactly how water should be.IceTrayDaGang likes this.

I've tried Icelandic Glacial and really liked it—super clean taste and smooth. Definitely a solid switch if you're moving on from Essentia. As for me, I'm not so precise in choosing the exact brand, however, I always try to be well hydrated. While I appreciate pure, unflavored water, sometimes I crave a little fizz or a subtle hint of something different without added sugar or artificial sweeteners. That's why I've found to be a great option. We have it in our office, and it provides access to various types of filtered water. I love that they offer naturally flavored sparkling water, like the refreshing fruity blends such as blood orange and mango, or cucumber, mint, and lime.Last edited by lu_mc; 06-05-2025, 03:11 PM.
