Why no love for bare knuckle here? (BKFC)

Why no love for this on NSB or even a mention of it?

I've been catching a few lately, and although some of the lower fighters look barely a step above Toughman competition level, some of the top ranked fighters have better boxing skills than a lot of MMA competitors. The fights are fast paced, bloody, and the stoppages are devastating. Yes it's kinda like Roman gladiator shyt, almost like seeing a car crash, but I think they might be gaining momentum and could give MMA a run for it's money.

i've watched it a few times but just never got into it... BKF is on the same boat as Dana's new "power slap" fighting promotion. it's boring.

slow pace which doesnt really grab the american audience interest, and i dont think the rules here in the States will allow elbows and knees.. and that's what makes muay thai, you take that away and it's not as entertaining anymore. but i agreed, muay thai should be way more popular. back when i was 12-14 years old, i wanted to train muay thai but there was no places in my area that does muay thai.. the closest was this kickboxing place that was like 10 miles away but i didnt wanna learn kickboxing. now thinking back, i should have just done kickboxing just to get some training under my belt.

They actually had a BKFC in Thailand recently but only part of the card was Muay Thai bare knuckle.
Unfortunately it was the least exciting part of the card.

True, Power slap is boring to tears but the last few BKFC were pretty exciting for me.

              kickboxing good

4-time kickboxing champion Andrew Cobra Tate has surprisingly good hands

Capable of fighting inside with boxers and body shots

that’s better hands than most non-boxing fighters

I watched a bare knuckle MMA card last Saturday. It was actually very entertaining. Most of them had bad records but that really just means they actually all fight each other. It was way less predictable than a boxing card full of fights where one guy is 15-0 versus a guy who's 0-15. Lots of blood and guts and courage on display. I'll definitely watch the next one. I think it took place in Mississippi.

Usually entertaining but hard to build stars because any guy can get beat on any given night

I know. I think I like that better. Less predictable...
