Longboard Question

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to the world of longboarding and had a question I was hoping to get some advice on. I've been cruising around on a borrowed board and I'm thinking about getting my own, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I mainly use it for commuting and cruising around my neighborhood, so I'm not looking to do tricks or downhill racing. I just want something stable, comfortable, and maybe even a little stylish. Any recommendations on a good longboard setup for a beginner like me? What kind of deck shape and wheel size should I be looking for?

for longboard just get what suits you.. you cant really do tricks on longboard... i prefer a slightly wider deck and length size around 30-34". i used to skateboard, not longboard but the traditional style of skateboarding.

ccs, active ride shop, etc.. they have complete longboard set ups that you can purchase and start skating right away.. take a look at those sites.

I grew up Santa cruise and a long board was fine.

I used to go to a surf shop and trade red hair sin (winthout) semilla(seeds)



I live blacks from the beach here and the water is filled with lil jelly fish, and red algea

it's pretty fun for just cruising around... not everyone wants to do tricks and stuff..
