Lump sum. Complete some collections. New car, something smart, reliable and economical. Put most of the rest in a bank, some in safe deposit box, some in a safe and possibly invest some. Maybe a stock or 2, savings bond.

When Jeep first came out with the Wagoneer I thought why the heck is it in the same luxury class as the Navi and Escalade it looked like a beefed up Grand Cherokee but now I get it. This L series option is superb man it has it all. Lincoln and Cadillac are always neck and neck for best luxury SUV but Jeep takes the cake this year.

Will you take the lump sum or annuity?

How many people will you tell? Will you make the people you tell sign NDAs?

Will you just dissappear and start a new life somewhere else? Or do you go on living your life as a secret millionaire?

Will you spend most of your money like it'll never run out or will you invest most of it to ensure generational wealth for your family?
Well it a good thing I don't live in California or the governmet would take roughly 65% of it.

Yeah, that's gotta hurt, but it's still a lot of money.

That's when you hold off your payment until moving to another state with zero tax

                  Lump sum.

No NDAs. People can get bent asking me for anything.

No disappearing. I will continue doing what I do now but with even less concern to the trivialities around money.

I wouldn’t tell anyone about it until after it is claimed and I got it situated away. Then after that, only like 3 people would know I even won it.

Would definitely invest most of it. Probably 80% into investments. Take 20% to myself for whatever.

28 million payout. 7 million after taxes. No state income tax for me.

80% into investments. 20% to myself. I get to play with 1.4 million after that.

                  cool stuff. Stuff of dreams.

edit— I would log in and let you all know I won it though. Lmfao

I read California doesn’t tax on lottery winnings.

Not true. At the very least, the lottery office is required to withhold 24% of the prize money for federal taxes, according to the California Lottery.
