Yes, it is happening along with a multitude of other things designed to bring down civilization. What we see is an organized (meaning thought out) plan to promote evil and destroy reasonable and righteous thinking. The force behind this is demonic and in harmony with what the Bible says would occur during the final days of our system of things.
