They just wear rashguards iirc

Which makes sense

Aside from a bjj or judo match, the gi is worthless

You definitely wouldnt be wearing a gi in mma or submission wrestling match

its normal with kids who are good at a skill to back off a bit. Funny thing about martial arts is even adults who are talented can often lose interest as compared to the guy who really has to struggle to keep up. Human nature. Its great when they start young. I started training my two boys when they started walking... Literally lol. The teaching just has to be age appropriate. You work with kids differently than adults, and very young kids, different yet.
