Do you reckon Fat Yanks would like football (soccer, Fat Yanks) more if they were actually any good at it?

It's boring AF, and that's coming from a hockey fan.

only redeeming quality is the running clock. But even then it's like:
"Hey we're going long because of injuries and **** to make up for when we should have stopped the clock."
    "oh...okay. How much extra time?"
    "Who the **** knows?"
    I can fix soccer

Just make the field smaller and take out the offsides rule

Then any penalty goes to penalty kicks

I'll have every game into a shootout

    2-1, 1-0

I personally agree, I've NEVER seen the appeal of the crap, but it's just odd that Fat Yankistan is in a minority of countries that DON'T like it.

I suspect it may be because of the title "World Cup"... Fat Yanks are probably wondering why other countries are taking part.

If the game was cheaper to play and there was a 1000x better structure in place for youths to get involved like in every other country around the world?

Then yes. It would undoubtedly become the nm.1 sport in the United States at some point as well.

Those Africans love it... all you need is a ball. You can make goals out of coats.

in their case, there's really nothing else they can do. so for them, it's easier to get a ball and make a goal out of coats than it is to build a regulation basketball hoop. even their bodybuilders lift weights with bricks not iron.
