With the consistent acting job of getting hurt to stop the clock and being so a simple core game is no wonder it is not a hit in the US.

Games are too long and the scores are far, few in between.

I like the World Cup but can't get into it if there is not an international competition.

Yeah and the clock counted down instead of forward, which makes no sense to us. Oh and there were more goals scored most of the time. Or at least more shots on goal. The field is way too big. I occasionally watch when the women are in the finals, so some fans might watch if the men win a World Cup, but other than that, I have no idea if more US fans would watch. There must be more fans than there used to be though, since we've had Major League Soccer since the 90s.
