A16-year-old is facing a murder charge after a man was shot and killed in his Las Vegas backyard earlier this month, according to an arrest report.
Keshaughn Robinson is being held for , 48, in the 4700 block of Monterrey Avenue, near Flamingo Road and Boulder Highway on July 12.
Robinson was one of four people taken into custody after the deadly shooting, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said in their arrest report.
Robinson and the three others were at a home in the area and climbed a wall, falling into the backyard of Saltzman's home.
Saltzman questioned them about being in the yard and grabbed Robinson's hoodie, the report states. One of the people questioned by police said Robinson was armed with a handgun and that he fired four to five times into Saltzman's back as Saltzman went back to his home.
Saltzman's 2-year-old child was also struck in the foot. The child was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Robinson declined to speak with detectives. Police say they found 9mm casings at the crime scene but a 9mm handgun has not been found.

Per court records, Robinson is being held without bail on charges of open murder, battery with a deadly weapon and child abuse.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 16.
