Perma Banned From The Subreddit r/BOXING

I've just been permanently banned from r/boxing on Reddit. What for? Calling someone a "p**tard" for flipping out on me for comparing a boxers fighting style to Manny. Literally, within 30 seconds, I was banned for 3 days. I asked why, and they said I can't call someone a "p**tard." So I told him that he "must be r*tarded." That resulted in being permanently banned. It was a joke, really.

That means 95 percent of the users on this forum would be banned on r/Boxing right now. It's unreal. A year ago I had someone call me a lomo***ual repeatedly. That user wasn't banned. Not that I care, of course. I could care less what someone calls me if it's boxing related. Obviously death threats, racist stuff, etc. shouldn't be allowed. But man, r/boxing on reddit has really changed in the last year or two. That ****'s gone gestapo.

Anyhow, the point of this is that I respect the moderators here for allowing a boxing forum to remain true in spirit. Reddit's r/boxing is just unreal these days with the level of intolerance.

Reddit is heavily moderated and agenda driven, no surprise there. Also owned by China? I still read there but no surprise about that happened to you.

I never got into Reddit. I had a coworker who explained it to me and he hyped it up like some great thing.

Never pulled me in. I think their overall layout sucks ass. Too confusing to figure out where to go and where everything is. No thanks. Endless subreddits and a bunch of crap I don’t even know exists. That’s what happens when you have a chat forum that encompasses every subject known to man.

Meanwhile you have our lounge, which is easy to follow.

Yeah! No kidding. I joined a few but am constantly spammed by other subreddits all the time. Reddit is dog ****. It became apparent to me that it's nothing but a massive echo chamber. There are some that I actually like that seem useful, but it's definitely not the boxing subreddit.

Oh yeah. I actually hardly ever post or go to the boxing subreddit. I had a bad experience where I posted a clip of GGG taking flush shots and walking through them, one of which is in my sig. It was removed immediately. I asked why and spoke to a different mod who put it up. Next I know is that a swarm of Canelo fans descended and attacked. I obviously didn't care. But they started getting all these upvotes and then my post was downvoted massively. I get that Canelo is more popular, but the setup drives popularity rather than intelligence or even anything in the spirit of boxing. The mods, because they are fan boys, are cool with that. Someone calls you a lomo***ual or a ***** and that's okay. But call someone a ******* and WHOA!! Watch out.

Floyd is bad = downvote
Manny is good = upvote
GGG is bad = downvote
Lomachenko is bad = downvote
Canelo is good = upvote

And it doesn't even matter what's said or what's posted.
