actually thought it was aiight like OP I was scared they was gonna do the movie dirty but they kept it pretty consistent to the OG one no way it could have or any other movie come close to as good as the OG one tho damn thats one of the GOAT of all movie history.

cool to see Lisa still looking fine this many years later but her character was pretty annoying, all akeems daughters were pretty much boring too didnt add anything to the story at least cast some fine sisters right?

heard Rick Ross real life crib was used for Akeem's palace damn he got a sweet crib. One of my boys who's from ATL said he did a work business thing there and said his crib is blocked off by like acres of forests just between him and the next neighbors house.

Watched it today. Maybe I just liked the first film too much, because I wanted to turn off the film not long after watching. The old men at the barbershop were like 100 years old then. Now 30 years later and they barely aged. If the film was reality half the people (played by Eddie and Arsenio) would be dead.

I'm guessing people don't really like 2. Just feeling nostalgic over the 1st one. 1 had the charm and humor 2 tried to have.

It was alright, not a patch on the first one and they did have some annoying feminist BS in there but it wasn't toooo bad.

I watched it. It was good. Maybe 7 or 8 outta 10.

Predictable, as expected, but a million callbacks to the first film that made it enjoyable. Had a updated barbershop boxing sh^t talking scene which I was heavily rooting for with Floyd, Manny & Conor references. Wesley Snipes stole every scene he was in. I'm not sure I wanna see a Eddie movie that don't got Wesley in it from here out.

What did they say? I picture something like this:

It's one of the worst movies I've seen. Cut it off after half an hour. It's funny and exposes the current climate in America. Bunch of racial jokes that weren't in the 1st one (no agenda back then).

Well, just had another look. Remember the funny old guys in the barbers arguing about famous boxers. So in 2021 one of the old guys is saying:

"I have children. I have a grandson who's now a granddaughter, they can do that now, that's SCIENCE!"

So, as well as ticking the transgender checkbox., they went further by implying science is actually able to change gender. We all know hormone injections are temporary at best and any outward appearance is purely cosmetic. Depressing stuff.

I was going in and out of my sisters house and she was watching the movie so i would see a few scenes. Both times i saw it there was some ****** shlt going on. A bunch of ******s in that club they were at and the barbershop scene you mentioned. Its crazy but its catering to the black community (which is pretty much its whole fanbase).
