10 Reasons to Impeach George Bush and **** Cheney

Ten Reasons to Impeach George Bush and **** Cheney
I ask Congress to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney for the following reasons:
    1. Violating the United Nations Charter by launching an illegal "War of Aggression" against Iraq without cause, using fraud to sell the war to Congress and the public, misusing government funds to begin bombing without Congressional authorization, and subjecting our military personnel to unnecessary harm, debilitating injuries, and deaths.

    2. Violating U.S. and international law by authorizing the torture of thousands of captives, resulting in dozens of deaths, and keeping prisoners hidden from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

    3. Violating the Constitution by arbitrarily detaining Americans, legal residents, and non-Americans, without due process, without charge, and without access to counsel.

    4. Violating the Geneva Conventions by targeting civilians, journalists, hospitals, and ambulances, and using illegal weapons, including white phosphorous, depleted uranium, and a new type of napalm.

    5. Violating U.S. law and the Constitution through widespread wiretapping of the phone calls and emails of Americans without a warrant.

    6. Violating the Constitution by using "signing statements" to defy hundreds of laws passed by Congress.

    7. Violating U.S. and state law by obstructing honest elections in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006.

    8. Violating U.S. law by using paid propaganda and disinformation, selectively and misleadingly leaking classified information, and exposing the identity of a covert CIA operative working on sensitive WMD proliferation for political retribution.

    9. Subverting the Constitution and abusing Presidential power by asserting a "Unitary Executive Theory" giving unlimited powers to the President, by obstructing efforts by Congress and the Courts to review and restrict Presidential actions, and by promoting and signing legislation negating the Bill of Rights and the Writ of Habeas Corpus.

    10. Gross negligence in failing to assist New Orleans residents after Hurricane Katrina, in ignoring urgent warnings of an Al Qaeda attack prior to Sept. 11, 2001, and in increasing air pollution causing global warming

The last nine are good. The first is pointless. The "United Nations charter" has no authority over our country. The UN is not a real political organization with actual authority.

Too late, he is ****ing off anyway.
I would, however, be pleasantly surpirsed him being charged and facing the court, after he is done.

Sadly I don't see this happening at all. Clinton messed around with a dumb bimbo aide he gets impeached. Clinton lied about an affair, Bush does all of this:

But will face little to no consequences. Sad but true. I disagree with the bolded though. Your 4th point happens in all wars it's unavoidable. And the only election rigged I know of is the Florida 2000 debacle.

              In rebuttal:
              1. The United Nations is an absolute joke and doesn’t have the wherewithal to find their ass with both hands and a mirror. Just ask the poor suffering bastards in Darfur, Zimbabwe, the Congo or damn near any other country on the Dark Continent. How about some “oil for food”? Google “Srebrenica massacre” and Rwanda while you’re at it. An epic failure and disgrace.

              2. Newsflash...It’s a ****in’ war you pansy ****s! You got to break a couple eggs to make an omelet. If we took this politically correct tact during WWII we would all be sprechen sie deutsch and besides you’re wrong on both accounts. The very reason we established Guantanamo was to provide a legal “grey area” to avoid violating US law. We similarly use other governments in cooperation with our CIA to do the real dirty work when necessary. The constitutionality has yet to be fully tested in court but so far it stands. In the end we will need to write new laws to deal with *********s and enemy combatants. “international law” is a just something contrived to make the do-gooders feel better, see number 1 on the effectiveness of such folly. My philosophy is to kill them all and let God sort 'em out. A properly run "war" would have been over with in 9 months. This politically correct crap is what has created the quagmire in Iraq and nothing the USA does would/will satisfy the critics so it's just a losing proposition in my opinion. Better to have swiftly massacred everyone and everything in question and got on with the business of rebuilding the country. ****ing politicians!

              3. No violations of Constitution whatsoever. In case you missed it, the United States Congress created the PATRIOT ACT and George Bush signed it into LAW. As bad as it hurts the pacifists and ******* ********s, the Patriot Act could not have survived the sunset provision and been ratified without a majority of support by BOTH parties.

              4. Pure horse****. When the enemy disguises themselves as civilians and journalists, uses hospitals for command and firebases they are not provided protection under the Geneva Conventions. The Geneva Convention was written for lawful combatants. Look it up, *********s don’t qualify.

              5. See number 3 and READ the ****ing Patriot Act.

              6. Weak and blatantly false. Signing statements are a non issue and a legitimate perk of office. They are merely comments that have no effect on actual law. The President can either approve or veto a bill.

              7. Look up “crying over spilt milk” and “sore loser”.

              8. If “paid propaganda” was a legal issue both parties would be out of work. Vallerie Plame was outed by Richard Armitage who worked for Colin Powell at the time, absolutely no connection to Bush nor Libby. ( that one had to hurt )

              9. The “Unitary Executive Theory” is just that, a ****in’ THEORY. Yet to be proven or decided upon in court. To call it subversion or abusing is strictly a matter of opinion. See “sore loser” again, you should probably bookmark it.

              10. New Orleans is part of Louisiana which is a state in our Union. A state’s commander in chief is called a governor. Cities are run by a Mayor. The governor is in charge of its National Guard and the Mayor has control over emergency services. The President has no Constitutional power to circumvent neither state law nor agencies without the approval of the governor first. Governor Blanco and Mayor Ray Nagin are the sole culprits of blame for the delay of aid and the utter incompetency following Hurricane Katrina. You dumb ****s really need a course in Civics 101.

George Bush had only been President for eight months prior to 9/11. Bill Clinton had several opportunities to take out Asama Bin Ladin and failed to act. If there’s governmental blame for preventing the attack on Sept. 11, 2001 and the proliferation of Al Qaeda it rests solely on the eight YEARS of administration prior to George Bush.

you can post a bunch of cop outs but the fact of the matter is he can actually be tried and found guilty for a number of these. He may not be found guilty for all of them but lying to the public alone about the war should be enough to get you some time.. especially when you knew what you were saying was complete bull****.

Your age belies your naiveté and to call my rebuttal a bunch of "cop outs" is to prove you don't have a clue, but that's ok, you have the rest of your lifetime to understand and to learn. Here's a little wake up call. Politicians are lawyers. This is what makes their position so powerful and dangerous if you decide to enter that arena. Since you seem to be politically inclined enough to voice your opinion you should surely have realized that George W. Bush has been attacked by every means possible from the opposition. If you think for one second that they could have made ANY of these "10 reasons" stick in a court of law and not done so by now you're beyond hope. Furthermore, becoming a President of the United States is one of the greatest achievements and to think that he would be indicted outside of office for anything done while serving our country is laughable.
