Destiny. Anyone else pumped for it?!?

I'm a PC gamer at heart, but I absolutely love the Halo series. I went out and picked up a PS4 and pre-ordered Destiny and got the Digital Guardian Edition which includes access to Vanguard weapons and the first 2 expansions.

Anyone else play the Alpha or is excited about this game? If so, what were your impressions? Also, what system will you be playing it on?

Looks very good but I really hate playing any FPS/shooting based game with a controller, do you think connecting a mouse and keyboard would work?

Yep, same here, I feel like i'm moving in slow motion lol. I don't think that'll work unless Bungie updates the game with K/M support. I doubt even that will happen though.

I hear it'll be available on PC next year, so that's something to keep your fingers crossed for.

Hmmm, I'll probably wait until next year to get a next gen console anyway. It's just been all round disappointing so far, most of the best games seem to be coming out next year anyway. I downloaded Watchdogs for the PC (*******) and it was such a horrible experience playing on keyboard/mouse at the beginning, totally unoptimised (mouse lag, low fps, **** performance essentially) so I had to turn everything on low and plug my ps3 controller in to my PC and play like that.

There used to be a way on the last gen where you could get around the keyboard mouse lack of support through buying your own adapter and connecting a few wires about but I don't know if it works this gen and I don't know the prices for the adapter stuff either (Swifty on YouTube did it, if you've heard of him for Call of Duty:Black Ops 1 I believe).

The highest budget game of all time made by one of the greatest developers of all time, Bungie. The sole reason the FPS is where it is today.

I think if you're not excited about destiny, then you don't know **** about gaming.

Playing it on the PS4 of course. I'm too intelligent of a consumer to waste money on the underpowered, more expensive whackbox.

Nope. Im not getting pumped for any games, so it's not a massive disappointment when they come out we should all lower our expectations so we dont end up like most people who where buying all the watch dogs media bull**** hype.

I played the alpha, I found it fun but not mind blowing by any means. I am looking forward to playing the beta next week.
