Why do people say the Wii U's online is bad? Other than no account system?

Been playing my Newphew's. Super Mario 3D World is Nintendo craftsmanship at it's finest. Polished to the balls with Grade-a finesse.

I got both the wii and the wii u. I got for my son the wii u for xmas the wii u comes with a HD connection which looks a lot better. I play the Mario games with my son I got him a ton of new games. Also you can use the wii controllers on the wii u which is awesome.
