[PLEASE HELP] Started Dishonored today, what should I know?

Just snuck about the jail choking fools out. Headed for the sewers. The game uses unreal tech so I do see the similarities in Bioshock and what not.

The lady at gamestop said it was a Bethesda game, does it play like one?/

Bethesda didn't do sh-t but publish it. The developers are Arkane Studios, which also developed Bioshock 2.

Yes, it seems more Bioshock than Elder scrolls for sure.

Over all decent game, I'd advise upgrading your Blink too full as a first priority and then do what suits you best really, all the powers are pretty fun although some are a little gimmicky. The game kind of adapts too your play style too, there's this thing called Chaos Rating which goes up the more people you kill (you don't actually get too see your rating though until the game is over, can't track it mid game), the higher your Chaos Rating the harder the game gets e.g More guards / security measures, plague carriers, **** etc and it also changes the end of the game significantly. So the game rewards you for being stealthy although that means you won't be able to use all the powers in the game really, can't remember what they are but there's some pretty cool ones just based around killing the enemies.

I still haven't finished this game in low chaos rating. All you could really use is choking and sleep darts. As opposed to high chaos rating, you could use just about anything.

Just beat the game. I'm a little disappointed with how short it was. The story was good but I saw the betrayal coming from a mile away. I think I'll play it again down the road. But it's not as good as I thought it would be.

Strange. It can easily be the best game of 2012 interchangeably with Borderlands 2, and one of the best in the last 5 years.

                  So why'd you get banned?

Got the special edition with the DLC. Really good game. Story was a little too straightforward, and the two climactic levels where you take down the Regents were disappointing, but the gameplay is so good. I love the mix between Bioshock and Deus Ex. Corvo is definitely the baby daddy, too.

The DLC is fantastic. They definitely listened to complaints about the main game, because the DLC had some great, great levels to play through. Makes me really excited for whenever the sequel comes out.
