Strong Chin, medium strong body, So/so at combo, and Maxed Block.

Generally the way i fight is for the first 2-3 rounds, i fight very slow, I throw a jab here and there, occasionally a jab straight combo, or Jab to the body straight to the head.
I block way more than i try to sidestep, cause i don't want them thinking that i may be side stepping or ducking punches in the future.

I fight on the outside and very cautiously for the first couple rounds. This usually gives me a feel for my opponent, makes me look like i don't know what i'm doing (i don't do anything fancy), gives them a sense that i'm going to try to win on points, and they're outpointing me. It also conserves my energy and usually gets them throwing alot more.

Then in round 3 or 4 (depending on opponent), They're usually not scared of me coming in, cause they expect a jab or two, they're not really looking for counters or anything.

I bull rush from the opening bell, and work the body and head with hooks in combination, as well as push them into the corner.
I double my punch output here.

Usually i'm looking at a knockout in the next few rounds 6-8.

However, sometimes that lead i gave them for the first few rounds was too much, and then they just run on me, or if they drop me on a good shot, i'm also way behind on the cards.

However, this style, sucks for the new tuner.... so I don't recommend emulating it.
Hmm your a hooker ...damn... i fight you guys from time to time and i keep you away by boxing counter punching...

hmmm... my advice would be to goto the body early and often counter punching. play a tight guard wait for your opponent to make mistakes but considering you don't have and long range weapons it makes it allot harder... your really going to learn how to fight using this guy. patience is your friend here. I wouldn't over extend my offence to keep up with a guy who spams but i would make it a war to the body make him hate throwing his power shot... so timing is going to have to be another one... when you have him weary of fighting inside walk him down but off the ring sidestep lots to bluff his offence and counter with an occasional right or left hook to the head. your a brawler, you have to fight like one and you want to trade when he throws but not at the expense of your stamina... your offence has to work like a slow medicine... i would stick to only one or two hooks pause till you stamina jumps then throw a 3,4 again when in doubt go to the body more than the head. pressure bursts pipes you have to add significant smart pressure while counter punching.

i would really work on your stamina and toughness also... you should look at how marvin hagler fights. slips sidestep in and trade to the body get into his chest. then apply more pressure by sticking with him until he throws, your whole game is punishing the guy off mistakes he makes, when you begin to fight like this i think you'll have more success...

    those are my thoughts.

there are a ton of jabbers post-tuner. I noticed that a lot more when I fought about 10 fights last night and 10 of those fights my opponent was a jab spammer. lol that's 10 out of 10 people I fought were jab spammers.

So while the tuner is overall good, they still need to iron out a few more things.

Accuracy is down right, which at first I thought was cool, but because body punches and **** off set your punches, when your facing a jab spammer (especially one that mixes it up head & body) counter punching is a lot harder, and imo that's not cool. Guys that fight like ******s should pay dearly for it. Now, as a counter puncher my self that likes to side step when I anticipate the punch, it's becoming very difficult to do so because for one, a little jab or whatever will off set my punch/motion and two, accuracy is down so even if I do slip the punch, there is a good chance I wont even land it a counter. sure I can back-step a body spammer and try to land a quick jab or straight to their face, but often it will come just short for some reason then I'm right back into getting jabbed to death until I back out (so that just gives my opponent a few quick shots on me).

I went about 8-2 last night. But four of those fights I won by last round KO or KO in the 9th round, and all four of those fights I was badly behind on the scorecards. Why? Because I was getting "out-punched" each round by super jabbers, even though I was landing much more counters and hard shots. That's frustrating. Sure, with patience I can usually beat these guys, but it's annoying and not very fun.

So hopefully there is a new tuner soon to iron out this remaining issues.

yeah... you know what... i have to say... This tuner has now turned me off of FNC... I dunno what to say but playing it now... too much work. I think it's lost allot of it's overall game feel and now has turned into a sim that it trying to mimic real life boxing to much... I wish they had a choice between which tuner you would like to use... this one is ****... never thought i would say that... I wish people would accept it as a game and not the real thing. If you want real go out and learn how to box... I dunno... I've been winning too it's just how i've won... it's feels like an overdone steak overdone when i liked mine medium rare. everything trades sidestepping is nurfed huge... it's just sloppy...

          thoughts?

The jab thing is a problem but not a major one in my experience. I've only gone to the scorecards once in the 13 fights I've had online since getting it, so it hasn't affected to much in that regard. I think having a jab offset your opponents incoming punch is a good thing so they should keep that, but perhaps make it so that after 2-3 jabs in a row your speed reduces so that you can't spam. Also have different jabs do different things, for example if someone is doing weak jabs to the body with no weight behind them and you load up on a power punch, the punch should still damage them a fair bit.

If you step in with a jab or land a single jab rather than 3 pitty-pat ones it should make a bigger difference IMO.

wait until u come across someone who is always on the backfoot and does nothing but body jab.

also on head to head its not as much of a problem but if ur on owc and trying to build ur guy up its extremely difficult especially now that they removed one punch kos.

Damage is WAY too high. Needs to be fixed.

I have to start a new guy. I played with a friends fighter, who's geared for outside fighting, alot of jab straight combos and movement. I was winning with his guy.

its just sad that you can build a dude up to fight a certain way, then they change the parameters and your dude becomes worthless.

I thought the way they had it before was fine, they just needed to tweak the running. and maybe bring down the stuns/1pko's a bit.

they need to bring back the 1 punch kos too... the thrill of the fight is dimished, it was awesome knowing at any moment, this fight could end.

                    Body jab,
wins six rounds then runs the rest of the fight.

and the occasional power straight that seems to stun my dude every time.

                    All while running backwards...
