My Xbox 360 got the Red Ring of Death

Yeah... Had my friggin' system since March of 06 and it finally crapped out on me 3 days ago. I honestly (******ly) thought that it would never get it because it had lasted so long. Every single one of my good friends in real life and over Xbox Live have gotten it some multiple times. This sucks balls because I had finally started to make some good progress in GTA IV. Meh. To be honest the 360 as a games console kicks major ass with a ton of awesome games and Xbox Live. It's just the actual hardware is inexcusable. How many of you guys who have the 360 have gotten this and how many times? Did you uppercut random old people on the street afterwards? I drop kicked a baby in the forehead with my controller I was so pissed.

Heres what you do and what ive done

    got walmart

    buy a 360 with cash

    take it home

    take both of them apart

switch the insides, becareful not to tear the sticker on the back

    put the covers back on...

you now have your broken insides inside the new cover... and the new insides in your old cover

put the NEW cover with the broken insides back in the box, and return it to walmart, for a cash refund, and say u played it for 20 minutes and started getting a red flashing it stopped working u want a refund.. i already did it

make sure the xbox u return, turns on... and shows the red flashing...

Too late. I already shipped it out but that is a good idea. I have a friend who does that all the time but with Microsoft Points. Buys 'em goes back to the crib, uses them, then goes to back WalMart and returns the card saying it doesn't work. They give him a new one. He essentially always gets double the points. He does this all the time too...
