    A new xbox 360?!

I sent in my xbox 360 for repairs since it ****ed up from overheating about 5 days ago. I sent it to that 18004myxbox thing, and was expecting it to take a loooong time to come back. I live in SA Texas, which is kind of close to where they send in the 360's for repairs. Most people said they didn't get it back for like 2 months most of the time so I was pretty bummed out. We got a call from UPS saying that a package was going to be delivered from a repair place by possibly today but it didn't come. Nobody in my family sent in anything for repairs, so I'm guessing it's my 360. I doubt they would repair it that fast so they are possibly sending me a brand new 360. Which would be helpful in the game gears of war, cause my ******* never updated which had been causing me to have to take around 4 shots to kill someone from close up, and I most likely am not going to be dieing by 1 shot anymore from far away!

    Hope it's a new 360.

Microsoft sent letters to all who have warranties saying from now on they will either

    A. Send you back your old unit

    B. If its beyond repairable send you a brand new one and not a refurb like they have been doing.

Microsoft has been great with customer service over this whole thing...The cause of your 3 red lights was a bad solder though...

Yea, thats why the towel fix works, because it makes your 360 so hot it resolder's it....Though I would not recommend the towel fix to anyone for any reason...

To answer your question...You may be getting a new one...It doesn't take 2 months it takes roughly 2 weeks....2-3 days for you to get shipping box..9-10 days for them to get and repair it, 2-3 days to ship it back...

Brand new 360 . I've been whooping the **** out of people on gears, I can take a lot more shots and my ******* is a lot stronger. I still gotta test out GRAW 2 on it.

I know one guy who had to threaten to sue in order for him to get his 360 back, they had it for like 9 months.
