Yeah, I might start going to the track around springtime. And I never thought about shoes. It definately might be those. I wear my old basketball shoes, gotta switch it to something like New Balance or something. And I already drink lots of milk daily

your just asking for trouble wearing those man. check out and research, you DEFINATELY need some proper running shoes, especially if your running on concrete.

"heart of a champion" it's a dvd that follows roy during his training for the Tarver II bout. it takes an in depth look at the work roy does with mackey shilstone and his boxing work. it's a must buy for any roy jones fan, or anyone looking for training ideas. i was acually supposed to upload it for someone but never got around to it lol.

Thanks for the link. Once I buy the shoes, I hope they help with my shin splits as well.

For now, I just walk on a really high incline until I get good shoes to run in.

              Any ones you recommend?

It's hard ot believe that Roy didn't do roadwork but it wouldnt suprise me if Foreman didn't. Apparentely he was training to knock guys out in uynder 4 rounds anyway.

check out the asics kayano. i have two pairs of the nike airmax 360, they have great support but their $160 a pair so they're also expensive.

I heard Roy Jones cardio exercise was done with all just shadowboxing rounds...if this is true then what is the need for running?
** You heard wrong. George famously ran several miles the first day of his announced comeback.
